		<description>As to your first theory, the reason Vader piloted a TIE fighter wasn't to escape the Death Star, but rather to defend it.  He doesn't fly away from it, but around it trying to pick off the rebels "ship to ship" as he called it. He knew he was the best pilot in the Imperial fleet, so he took it upon himself to destroy them all.  Remember his arrogance..."you underestimate my power".  He thinks he's all powerful throughout all 6 movies.  As for R2 arranging transport, that isn't true because Obi-Wan is the one who makes contact with Chewie in the cantina.  I do like the theory of him being a rebel spy, but why is he on Tattoine?  The official story is that the Kashyykk was enslaved by the Empire, and Han rescued Chewie...he owed his life to Han.</description>
